Tampa Rider Becomes the Face of Tesla Robotaxi in the Rain

TAMPA, Fla. - Tampa resident Michael Mizrahi, who posts on X as @CYBRTERPS, has become one of the most visible riders of Tesla's Robotaxi service in the city since it launched.

Mizrahi took a ride on launch day, July 21, 2026, posting a video titled "First Tampa robotaxi ride in the rain." Asked about the trip, he replied that it was "like 19 minutes and $12," adding that it took a while before a ride became available to request.

On September 7, he shared footage of a Robotaxi driving through heavy rain, later identifying the route as Dale Mabry Highway exiting onto Hillsborough Avenue. "Thank you for keeping me and my family safe, we love you Tesla!" he wrote. The video has drawn more than 360,000 views.

His riding habit also shows up in the numbers. On September 5, he posted a screenshot of a community Robotaxi tracker showing him ranked No. 1 of 37 on its weekly leaderboard. On September 8, he shared his tracker profile showing 69 Tesla Robotaxi rides.

On September 11, on a dry day, Mizrahi posted a clip of the vehicle's wipers in action, noting how they "prioritize the camera and do a little back and forth action to clear its view more efficiently."

According to Not a Tesla App, Tesla's Tampa service zone covers 23.6 square miles directly east of Tampa International Airport, including Egypt Lake-Leto, Old Seminole Heights and Tampa Heights, stretching toward the northern edge of downtown.
